Calf Update

March 16, 2007

I woke up today and my calf is still sore, but better.  I hydrated, massaged, iced, and heated per all the great suggestions I received in comments.  Thanks to all of you for looking after me :-)

I decided I’m not going to go tp spin class today.  I think I am going to either take my dog for a walk, or do a lite ride on an exercise bike.  Tomorrow, I am going to go on a long bike ride rather than run.  My next run will therefore be on Tuesday, and hopefully all will be well by then.

Listen to you body Phil… It might be saying a break is needed plus daily stretching (coming from the man who rarely stretches…Today was a very soggy McClinchey Mile 47 bike ride in Arlington – fun, but very, very wet…

hydration, hydration plus making sure you are getting the minerals your body needs. When sweatting it up, as I’m sure you are day in and day out, your body needs more than normal minerals, etc…to say in balance. Keep it moving…you are doing well.
